Bob: Sins of the Son

Once upon a time, on a dark and stormy night, in a land far far away, all cliches were banned. This story has nothing to do with that, I just wanted to give you some hope.

Bob is the son of Death. His role in the universe is to guide souls from this realm to the next where they're sorted by gradations of good. Bob thinks that's boring, and stultifyingly reactive. He wants to be proactive.

To accomplish his dreams he decides to speed the journey of some while delaying it for others. He ends up becoming a superhero, of sorts, in Chicago. Neither his sister nor his father are thrilled with this development.
